Assignment 3

The best logo there is.

I then outlined it, made it planar and extruded it. And this naturally inspired me to make the following.
I created couple planes, revolved them and with a sphere created a simple spotlight.
And then I practiced lofting.
And then lofted two circles, combined those with the bat logo and the spotlight,
and made the bat signal.
I'll admit, I was skeptical of Maya at first, but now that I know some basics it's fun and I'm excited for the next assignment. Don't know if I'll continue the batman theme or not.

Assignment 2

I enjoyed drawing it out, and thought it looked decent on paper, then it went downhill. I scanned it and started tracing it, usually failing to create straight and smooth lines. Then when I painted it I only used the very basics as I'm completely new to photoshop.
I'd certainly like to be able to create more detailed images, and that's going to take a lot of practice and familiarizing myself with the program.
And I don't really know what type of building the picture is, I just started drawing and that's what happened. And now I realized I should have added some shadow to the clouds . . .

First Assignment

A bit confusing learning the logistics of Maya, but progress has been made.
